Der Stiftungsrat der Anneliese-und-Mieczysław-Koćwin-Stiftung schreibt mit Wirkung zum 20. Juni 2026 einen Wettbewerb um wissenschaftlich-forschungsbezogene Stipendien aus den Bereichen der Wissenschaften aus:
Der Wettbewerb richtet sich an Personen, die an einer Hochschule oder an einem wissenschaftlichen Institut studieren oder eine Doktorarbeit vorbereiten, um den Magister- oder Doktortitel zu erlangen, sowie an wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter.
Stipendiatinnen oder Stipendiaten können ausschliesslich natürliche Personen werden, die das 21. Lebensjahr vollendet haben und zum Zeitpunkt der Vergabe des Stipendiums das 40. Lebensjahr noch nicht überschritten haben.
Das Stipendium in der Höhe von maximal CHF 2.000,00 (pro Monat) wird im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs zur Durchführung eines wissenschaftlich-forschungsbezogenen Projekts in der Schweiz vergeben. Der Finanzierungszeitraum, innerhalb dessen das Stipendium gewährt und ausgezahlt wird, beträgt maximal 12 Monate.
Die Stipendien werden vom Stiftungsrat entsprechend den satzungsmässigen Zielen der Stiftung im Wege eines Wettbewerbs vergeben, dessen Ablauf in der „Ordnung über die Vergabe wissenschaftlich-forschungsbezogener Stipendien durch die Anneliese-und-Mieczysław-Koćwin-Stiftung“ festgelegt ist.
Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb ist das Ausfüllen des Stipendienantrags durch die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten, die die Teilnahmevoraussetzungen des Wettbewerbs erfüllen.

Die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten übermitteln den ausgefüllten und eingescannten Stipendienantrag zusammen mit den erforderlichen Anlagen per elektronischer Post in Form einer E-Mail-Nachricht an die E-Mail-Adresse der Stiftung:

Nach Ablauf der Antragsfrist eingereichte Anträge sowie unvollständige oder nicht unterzeichnete Anträge bleiben unberücksichtigt. Die Bewertung der Anträge im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs erfolgt durch die Wettbewerbskommission. Ihr gehören zwei Vertreter des Stiftungsrates, ein Berater der Stiftung, der das Polnische Sozial- und Kulturzentrum in London vertritt, sowie ein Mitglied an, das das wissenschaftliche Umfeld repräsentiert (eine selbständige wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin bzw. ein selbständiger wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit dem Titel Professor).
Verantwortlicher für die Verarbeitung der personenbezogenen Daten der Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten ist die Anneliese-und-Mieczysław-Koćwin-Stiftung. Der Kontakt mit dem Verantwortlichen ist über die E-Mail-Adresse kocwin.foundation@gmail.com möglich. Die personenbezogenen Daten werden zum Zweck der Durchführung der satzungsmässigen Aufgaben der Stiftung verarbeitet. Der Verarbeitung unterliegen die aus dem Stipendienantrag sowie aus den diesem beigefügten Dokumenten gewonnenen Daten.
Empfänger der personenbezogenen Daten der Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten sind ausschliesslich Stellen, die auf der Grundlage gesetzlicher Vorschriften zum Erhalt personenbezogener Daten berechtigt sind, sowie bevollmächtigte Mitarbeitende oder Anbieter technischer und organisatorischer Dienstleistungen zugunsten der Stiftung. Die personenbezogenen Daten der Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten werden bis zum Einlegen eines Widerspruchs oder bis zum Ablauf der Archivierungspflicht gespeichert. Die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten haben das Recht, Auskunft über die Verarbeitung ihrer personenbezogenen Daten zu verlangen, das Recht auf Berichtigung, Löschung oder Einschränkung der Verarbeitung sowie das Recht auf Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten und das Recht auf Einreichung einer Beschwerde bei der Aufsichtsbehörde.
Gleichzeitig versichert die Stiftung, dass gegenüber den Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten keine automatisierten Entscheidungen getroffen werden und dass ihre Daten keiner Profilierung unterliegen.
The Foundation Board of the Anneliese and Mieczysław Koćwin Foundation hereby announces, with effect from June 20th, 2026, a competition for scientific research scholarships in the following fields of science:
The competition is aimed at individuals studying at a university or a scientific institute, or preparing a doctoral thesis to obtain a Master's or Doctoral degree, as well as scientific staff members.
Scholarship recipients may only be natural persons who have completed their 21st year of age and, at the time of the scholarship award, have not yet exceeded their 40th year of age.
The scholarship, in the maximum amount of CHF 2,000.00 (per month), is awarded within the framework of the competition for the implementation of a scientific research project in Switzerland. The financing period, during which the scholarship is granted and paid out, is a maximum of 12 months.
The scholarships are awarded by the Foundation Board in accordance with the statutory objectives of the Foundation by way of a competition, the procedure of which is set out in the "Regulations on the Award of Scientific Research Scholarships by the Anneliese and Mieczysław Koćwin Foundation."
The prerequisite for participation in the competition is the completion of the scholarship application by candidates who meet the participation requirements of the competition.

Applications submitted after the application deadline, as well as incomplete or unsigned applications, will not be considered. The evaluation of the applications within the framework of the competition is carried out by the Competition Commission. It consists of two representatives of the Foundation Board, an advisor to the Foundation representing the Polish Social and Cultural Association in London, and a member representing the scientific community (an independent scientific staff member with the title of Professor).
The controller responsible for the processing of the personal data of the candidates is the Anneliese and Mieczysław Koćwin Foundation. Contact with the controller is possible via the e-mail address kocwin.foundation@gmail.com. The personal data are processed for the purpose of carrying out the statutory tasks of the Foundation. The data obtained from the scholarship application and the documents attached thereto are subject to processing.
Recipients of the personal data of the candidates are exclusively entities entitled to receive personal data on the basis of legal regulations, as well as authorized employees or providers of technical and organizational services for the benefit of the Foundation. The personal data of the candidates will be stored until an objection is lodged or until the expiry of the archiving obligation. Candidates have the right to request information about the processing of their personal data, the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of personal data and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
At the same time, the Foundation assures that no automated decisions are made regarding the candidates and that their data are not subject to profiling.
